Less CT Cycling, More Time Savings
The next generation Kobold OmniSHIFT well completions system is designed to maximize operational flexibility and efficiency, and optimize performance especially in dirty wells or under-displaced stages.
OmniSHIFT minimizes BHA housing movement needed to operate the BHA. This reduces wear and tear on the tool, resulting in increased component reliability for longer term use and lowering non-productive time from a tool maintenance perspective. Less CT cycling required, allowing operators to save time moving from stage to stage.
The OmniSHIFT BHA is compatible with both open-up and open-down OmniSHIFT sleeves.
With a makeup length of just 15" and weight of only 38 lb, OmniSHIFT sleeves have the smallest form factor in the industry. The small footprint of our OmniSHIFT sleeves makes it easier to transport. Their efficiency of using less fluid and shorter cycle distances results in the benefit of lower carbon emissions, making them the most environmentally friendly sleeves to operate on the market.
They can be mechanically or hydraulically shifted with confidence since there are no depth limitations; shifting sleeves down can be done at any depth using tubing pressure. This means a full well annulus is not required, resulting in greater reliability. This also means that less fluid required, which translates into cost savings and does not impact ability to shift.
Benefits
Full well annulus is not required; less fluid required – cost savings; does not impact ability to shift.
Operational flexibility and efficiency.
Less emissions; safe and convenient to transport and use.
Extended tool life and higher stage counts.
Increase water savings and potentially reduce equipment requirements on location.
Cost savings; more efficient through stages; environmentally responsible
Maximize well operations/completions.
Features
Mechanically/hydraulically shifting sleeves down can be done at any depth using tubing pressure.
Sleeves can be reclosed before bypass valve is open, i.e., equalizing across the packer.
Large tonnage; high differential pressure; high flow rate, less erosion.
Fluid actuated valve can be incorporated as an option.
Available in Box-by-Box or Box-by-Pin configurations.
Operate as annular or tubing frac
